Scone Aircraft Maintenance has been established for over 30 years, initially as the maintenance facility for the "Pay's Air Service" group of companies.
In 1990 these companies were divided, and Scone Aircraft Maintenance became an independent company. In 2008, we expanded our ability to bring quality service to the general aviation industry in NSW to include maintenance facilities and staff in Cessnock. In 2011, Scone Aircraft Maintenance came under new management and was re-focussed on providing first class service in all areas.
The company is 100% Australian owned, with the owners and directors having a 25 year association with the local community. We employ 14 staff, all of whom live in the area with their families.
Situated in the picturesque Hunter Valley, the town of Scone is the centre of race horse breeding in Australia and is known as "The Home of the Thoroughbred".
Our modern fully equipped facility includes an Engine Shop, Component Overhaul Shop, Non-destructive testing section, Airframe servicing hangar, and aircraft major overhaul hangar.
We are CASA approved for maintenance of Class A aircraft, and overhaul of all piston engines up to 600 HP.
The facility is also approved to overhaul engine components, and to this end, all starters, magnetos, alternators, and fuel system components are handled in house.
With our reputation for quality workmanship and friendly service, it makes good sense to choose Scone Aircraft Maintenance for all your aircraft servicing requirements.
