Engines are received, stripped and cleaned in this section prior to being assessed and inspected for condition. All parts are chemically cleaned and stacked on individual trolleys for forwarding to the inspections section. All components are removed and forwarded to the component overhaul section for processing.
All parts requiring mandatory replacement are discarded and tagged as unserviceable.

The engine is inspected for compliance with the manufacturer's limits, tolerances and service information requirements. All A.D's and mandatory bulletins are incorporated at overhaul, including those applicable to all components that will be fitted at assembly. All parts are ordered from authorised distributors, and our stores batching system ensures full tracability.

PRE-ASSEMBLY

All parts received are unpacked and inspected in accordance with our strict quality control guidelines. Nothing is taken for granted, even factory supplied cylinder kits are dismantled and inspected for correct fits and tolerances prior to being fitted to each engine.

We do not produce assembly-line rebuilds. Each engine is assembled with the utmost care by highly experienced engine tradesmen. Our engine shop foreman & our component shop foreman boast over 50 years experience between them. We believe our final product is the best piston engine overhaul available in this country.

Each assembled engine is fitted to our test cell and run in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements. After test, the engine is subjected to a final detailing and inspection to ensure that it meets the satisfaction of the senior inspector. The engine is then inhibited and dispatched to the customer.
